Jan keeps using the word addiction but studies show it isnt addictive. So wtf?

The whole article is weird and seems very cut and paste and it's just stating women have a higher tolerance than men and they tend to be more addicted to weed based on their physiology from studies from all over the place and Jans opinion.

 

Then some conclusion about about the " NSW Health, which provides six cannabis rehabilitation clinics, does not offer treatment along gender lines. 

"Research into specific reactions for women and cannabis is new, and is not supported by a strong evidence base at this time," a spokeswoman says.

 

I think Jan Copeland,  is either smoking weed or losing the plot on the whole subject matter especially releasing this garbage to the media.

absolutely... capitalism at its very worse when it gains from suppression and demonising of our actions, of our own free will and in this case the consumption of an amazing plant.

 

How awful for mothers to be encouraged into feeling shame at the perceived substance abuse and the obvious  accusation of neglecting their children.

I think what is being missed is that it's not so much the cannabis use is the problem, but this person needs counseling for other emotion personal issues and using heavily to cover the pain. If the person seeks support  then cannabis use will be used at a moderate level. No different to those that drink heavily and are called alcoholics.

NCPIC studies say it's addictive . Very convenient given their involvement with GW Pharmaceuticals and peddling Sativex as a treatment for said addiction.

an there is quite a few statments in there i do not care for at all... the whole thing about just passing off grief when someone dies... maybe you are just a heartless bitch?.. ever thing of that one.... crazy woman.

Not all of us cope well with grief, but maybe it is just easier to call her a heartless bitch and a crazy woman rather than take the time to think about what she is actually saying.
