Just looked again at your pics, thats a full fungus attack! Leaf curling/rubber leaves. Go buy Great White Trichoderma from hydro shop or online it's about $50 for a little tub. I wouldn't use anything from bunnings etc. It still looks over watered to me also, I would be feeding that plant once every 2-3 days.

Ok , gotta try somthing, Is rhizotonic the same as great white ? I'll try pick some up this arvo ...more money.. grrr this was supposed to save me money lol

Bacteria thrives in water that is 26c and above. You cooked your roots at 30c.

I'm not sure if you can turn this around. Someone mentioned Trichoderma, You need this! I think this is the only way you could possibly bring your plant back, if it's possible. I'm no expert, but in my opinion, your plant looks over watered, stressed, and has been susceptible to a disease/fungus attack. Trichoderma prevents this. Also in future I would recommend another medium to grow in other than straight clay balls, and on a final note, perhaps a bigger pot. I hope this helps...

The medium is DWC not straight clayballs.

Throwing trichoderma and any other potion or fairy dust at the plant will not fix the environmental issues.

Hey man , thanks for stopping by , the temps have been about 28-30° here for past 6-7 days , there is new growth on plant and roots daily but even new growth is clawing , I'm really at a loss at mo , so you don't think the rhizotonic or great white will help ?

Bro, you have a fungal problem. Trichoderma will help, regardless of what that person said up there^^^ how do I know this? Because I have experienced this problem many times years ago. Before I used Trichoderma, I found a product called fongarid, this can be bought at bunnings. It's a fungus attack that your plant is suffering. I used to nickname it "the one finger disease" as my plants started growing one finger claws! And I bet when you feel them, they feel tough and almost rubbery?

If this is the case, it's a fungus disease caused by overheated water. Water above 24c is not good. My plants water as it stands right now is at 28c. But why is it not struggling like yours? Because I apply Trichoderma around the base once a week. What is Trichoderma you ask? Well I'll tell you now it ain't no fucking fairy dust! Trichoderma is a friendly bacteria that helps fight off unwanted bacteria and any fungus attacks that are brought in by pathogens. Out door plants don't have this problem as much due to Trichoderma being present in the soil. Trichoderma may not fix your problem, but a good dose of Fongarid might. Trichoderma applied on a weekly basis will prevent this from happening again. If your growing just one plant, you should be feeding run to waste. This will also stop future problems. Look if you need another opinion go to your local hydro shop and be bluntly honest with the guy and show him your photos. And he will give you his advice. Rhizotonic will not fix Abu problems, rhizotonic is just an additive that is seaweed base. I'll take a pic later of the Trichoderma. Just don't panic and go buying this, that and the other. The main thing is, the plant is still alive right?

I'm not trying to pick on you but I think you may have missed some important points.

The medium is Deep Water Culture that for the last couple of weeks the res temperature has been a constant 18 degrees. You can't change to run to waste without changing to non DWC.

If you decide to use the Great White Shark it isn't necessary in a closed DWC system to add it every few days.

It's a bad idea to carry photos of your grow around with you and it's a bad idea to show them to people you don't know (and probably to people you do).

Has anyone actually looked at the roots. Is there any slime or smell. Signs of root rot?.

I'm a little late but clawing and dark green foliage to me says too much nitrogen/over fert.

I'm not saying there isn't a root/fungus problem but if you look at the roots that will be pretty noticeable by now.

If there is no sign of root issues flush and add lower strength nutes until new growth looks normal

I also saw your adding cal/mag. Cal/mag is loaded with N designed to make sick plants look nice and green again. I would drop the cal/mag unless you actually see a calcium or magnesium deficiency.

My money's on Nitrogen toxicity in this case

The great white has worked a treat , definitely going to keep using. What I think ...I don't really think it was a fungal attack but the great white did help with the heat stress and recovery, I read some info that it is used for high temp grows , with hydro plants the heat usually comes from the lights and when too hot the leaves "taco" to reduce the surface exposure to said heat , in my case it's not the light it's just fuckn hot (over summer but getting aircon next week ) and the leaves lose moisture qick er than the plant can suck it up . and that is why the leaves claw .. , and I think I will stop with calmag also

Peace
