My Hawaiian Baby Wood-Rose adventure.

Recommended Posts

So, I got some Hawaiian Baby Wood-Rose Seeds I'm going to attempt to grow from seed. (because I like the look of the flowers.)

I soaked 10 seeds for 24hrs in some water. As you can see from the pics 6 swelled up & 4 started opening. Good sign.

So I planted 6 in my little planter box with the good 4 in the middle. The other 4 I planted together in a pot, we'll see how they go. Apparently getting them to sprout above surface is the hard part, as the seeds can rot easily. I read better to use paper towel. People use paper towel to germ canna to but Ive only ever gone straight to soil. After theyre above ground should be easy street. (apparently) I dont like to post like this without any real results yet but see what happens. Pics are before & after soak.   :toke:

1 Already looking good, I gently helped to pull the seed husk of tonight & saw another one starting to break the surface. Fuck these things shit all over canna for early development. Guess Ive never grown anything from seed except canna. If these 2 pull through Ill be happy with that. Haven't got around to my extraction yet but have all the gear ready.
