bud booster, algen extract, amino acids

Recommended Posts

do you guys think  house and gardens range of additivesare useful i already use the roots excelerator, and mutlizyme which are awesome. but i was wondering about the budbooster, the algen extract, and the amino acids

also one other question i have been growing in coco for a year but i never add anything like seasol with my nutes for the micrbacteria thing haha should i be adding something. im not sure seasol would be right with these sort of nutes anyway.

Dunno but I guess they might do something if your general plant health is up to par. I never got too excited about additives although I did find half a bottle of H&G Bud XL in the cupboard and just started using it.

yeah ok mate thats what i was thinking but would it be worth an extra couple of hundred bucks haha. let me know how that bud xl goes if it does anythihng i been looking at that. i couldnt refuse the other day at the hydro shop i bought a bottle of supa sticky from cyco im gunna give it a whirl this time round on my incredible bulk to see if it makes more trics or anything, i will let yas know in here when i use it.

It is enough usual nutrients for me. If you have good lights buds will be great.

yeah first grow i did i used half of the additevs with my base nutes. buds were big look like lots of big trics, second grow i didnt use anything except base nutes buds were smaller but many more weighed around the same as first grow. but trics didnt seem like there were so many. strange thing is it got me more stoned haha.

so im trying to work on a good combo to try a grow with all nutes and additives to compare the 3. its only fair i guess haha

I love H&G, but it can get expensive... Never had a nutrient issue when used to the feed chart, marvellous stuff in an airponic set up, rootballs are healthy, hairy and just plain sexy.... God I love weed....

There's my plug, Van Der Zwann, is number vann ..... lol

Oh, I used absolutely everything in the range, shooting powder was the killer......money wise, that is....

Personally I think it's a waste of money, sure amino acid is great but you will find that amino will already be in some of the nutes you might be using. Also just about every nutrient is the same (to a degree) this is also just my opinion, but if you do some searching and smelling, you will find that a lot are the same just extremely different prices. There's cheap root enhancers out there and good potash and also natural sweetners out there. I definitely don't want to stop anyone using what nutes they're using just letting you know there are cheaper alternatives that do exactly the same thing.

Hey mate,

I use the Amino treatment.

It is good shit, plants just boom on it and stay really healthy.

Is expensive but works well.

Try a silica additive as a folair spray... doesnt matter which brand... not in feed.... its a pain in the arse. Just be sure to ph it.

That also made my plants get up and jump.

Folair spray will give you extra nitrogen and iron when ya need it.... spay that on too.

H&G do good base nutes and essentials are

Roots excel.

Multizyme.

And in flower go the top booster (pk13-14)

And Bud XL through flower with the shooting powder at end is the forshizzle.

Peeps are right though some things in their range are not needed.

Never used their nitrogen...algen extract...

or drip clean....

You don't even need the Amino... but its worth a try to see the difference.

lol

Nibs.
