Confused about seed terminology

I was most disappointed with potency.

Growing outdoors I have no idea about for autos but even indoors the extra power consumption and what the general consensus see as finicky plants makes them a waste of time and money in my honest opinion...

Sad to hear you got poor potency Goat, most I've had have still had good, but not super high, potency.  Main differences I've seen is that the buzz usually has a little bit of a nice mellow relaxing edge to it, which is a good difference, but the stone certainly doesn't seem to last quite as long, not so good.

You're right, they don't do their best outside, and extra power consumption per gram is also a bit of a problem indoors, but I wouldn't go as far as calling them a waste of time and money.  But I do think they have limited situations where they are a good option for sure.  My current outdoor worked well for me as I just didn't want a whole season taken up this time, but wanted to know how the cross would turn out.  The other times for me is to fill in a bit of excess space during veg time, and a few other limited circumstances.  The rest of the time though, they are a waste of time and money for me, but still fun :).  I'll do another auto seed run this year, but after that they'll rarely see the light of day.

Thanks for your valuable inputs guys. I've been growing the above mentioned strain for about a month now. Its development is kind of slow and backward but I've been learning all the stuff as it goes. I bought 4 seeds, one of them being auto and I've started with that one because I read somewhere that auto are good for beginners because they don't have to mess around with those light periods. I'm growing it indoor. I'll check out the recommended threads, thanks.

Next one will be the classic photo type so I'll see the difference.
