URGENT HELP NEEDED - to harvest or not to harvest?

Recommended Posts

Hi All

in a bit of a situation here
Urgent decision needs to be made

my friend has a blueberry x ak47 that she started too early and now is flowering.
Specified strain says flower period is 55-65 days. it has currently been flowering around 7 weeks, or 49 days.
The buds are large but very very airy, i believe they will put on alot of weight in these last 2 weeks. doubling or more in weight.

today several grams worth of dead mouldy calxys were removed from various spots on the plant with sterile scissors,
and all leaves around bud removed to increse airflow.

My problem is -

it is predicted a week long cool intermittent rain, high humidity for 7 days.

the question is :

Should she :

harvest asap before rain?

benefit of lest risk of mould whilst drying,
and can dry slower for a smoother smoke.
But buds will be premature , half potential weight,

or

Watch over it and shake off daily, keep close eye on mould and harvest if breakout starts

chance of getting increased yield

potentially mould more whilst drying

or

put a tarp over it? or put under cover (minimal light for a week)?
Or should i chop it and sit it in water?
lol

Pls halp

any opinions or advise would be great
