For my mind, fuck em, and fuck em hard.  It's the fucked up laws that produce arseholes like these who grow the sacred herb in many and varied fucked up ways to produce an unhealthy, crap quality product that has a generation of tokers convinced that it is good gear.  Not to mention the way they treat those poor bastards they get over here illegally and put into place as scapegoats to take the rap in the event of a raid, safe in the knowledge they have enough over them to keep them from opening their mouths.  From what I've heard the Viet gangs are using the profits from grow ops to fund a growing meth operation as well, but that is hearsay.

 

Just in case anyone interprets me wrongly, I'm bigotted against arseholes, not the Vietnamese.

 

Bad laws create organized crime, and organized crime is only good for the arseholes at the top of these organisations.  I personally couldn't give a shit if every single one of these operations got taken down, so long as they left the smaller scale "market gardener" type of commercial operators alone, and stopped their ridiculous bush helicopter media circus bullshit, at least then black market weed would be a cleaner, safer product for those who can't or won't grow their own.

I'd be careful thinking I make sense, I'm a cynical old bastard .

 

But I do get my knickers in a twist over what commercial growers have done to canna in our country.  Suppose I should try and see the positives as well, so here goes.  They have created a more stable market, so non growers generally don't have to deal with the occassional droughts we used to experience (anyone remember wasting whole days to find a shitty foily of leaf and tip:), and it has also brought prices down,and kept them down, significantly (how is it our kids pay less per oz than we did 30 years ago).  BM product is also more consistent, but, nah, fuck it, the consistent is crap and unhealthy, so how is that better than going from seedy to okay, to fabulous imported filth without knowing what it's gonna be one week to the next, at least that was a bit of an adventure. 

 

I'm sure some of us remember the Italian Mafia shite from the 80's, it wasn't the most potent, but unless you got the seedy shit it was okayish, and at least a pleasant buzz, and if had to choose between that and the modern hydro, i'd go the old school stuff.  And some of the bud that used to get imported then was A grade gear, not to mention the hash, mmmm, soft black putty.  Ahhh, happy unpredictable days.
