LED light height advice.

Thanks for the reply. There certainly is trial and error and there will be differences with every variety or situation.

 

However I have spent months and many hours reading up on this, mainly mars specific threads on different sites. Probably the main error growers make is lights too close to plants. Everyone treats leds like what they're used to; hps, flouro e.t.c. and have the mentality to have them as close as possible without burn). The better grows with mars leds at least (but also other brands) have the plants at greater distance. Manufacturers recommendations. All I am trying to do is save growers from making the same mistakes many others have made. I've seen and heard of pretty bad damage and set backs because of plants being too close to led lights. If you are going to experiment start at a the distance recommended and either allow the plants to grow into it or raise the plants very slowly.
