Sick Plant Recovery........ Hopefully

Recommended Posts

I see a few leaves yellowing and die. Is this because outdoor growing? Anyway I guess no reason for worry.

Hi Ronny

Sorry for the late reply, I have been told that the older leaves die off because the plant strips them of nuits.  This is normal, apparently, because the old leaves are no longer needed.

Hi All

Hows things?  Got some new photos, but I should mention that the photos in my last post were a few weeks older than when I posted them.  I took them but forgot the put them up for a few weeks.

Anyway, she is coming along nicely now, the colas are beefing up and the flowers are nice and healthy.  Should be ready for harvest soon.

We have had 4 days of cloudy rainy weather here with Wednesday the worst, it rained from sun up till sun down and through the night.  We have also had low tempratures, well at least for Summer anyway.  I am sure this did not help the flowers any but they seemed to have survivrd well.

I bought myself a digital microscope and have taken some photos as you can see below.  They are not the best but it is bloody difficult to get photos with it.

Hi fellow growers, I need a bit of expert advice.

As you can see from the photos somthing has been eating the leaves on this plant.  I noticed the damage about a week ago.

However, as you can see from the photos of the Trichs she is ready for harvest.  They are mostly milky with some clear and some amber.

My dilemma is this;

Do I harvest now and hope the bugs leave because the plant has started to die.

Do I spray with Bio Oil and harvest and wash the colas after a week of hanging to get rid of the oil.

Or, Do I spray with Bio Oil and leave the plant for a few days to a week to allow the oil to kill the bugs.

My main concern is leaving it too long and have amber trichs and a couch lock effect from the smoke.

Also, I am getting lovely Mango and Citrus aromas from her.

Any and all help will be much appreciated.

Thanks
