Federal Government to legalise growing of medicinal cannabis

Quality is a must. They need people in the know, the science behind canna has been minimal due to laws and regulations. It seems they ( politicians ) maybe willing to look at medical, so find the patients who use it medically now. Why do we have to re-invent the wheel. Let the people who know examine quality and benefit.
As iTiC says "...Many ppl are already doing it there own way..." I'm one of them. The laws are there to 'minimise' profiteers, understandably ( not that they work ) but for those of us that obtain a benefit, the law should allow us to do so. imo

For now tho, I'm aware of the law and I choose to grow my own meds and deal with the law when required. I don't grow to sell, I grow for me, my medical team is aware and although some of them disagree, its me who has to manage this, not them. They are NOW of that understanding.

Yeah laws to negate the ability of most individuals to profiteer is like limiting a farmers ability to grow corn or tea. I just feel the oz govt will try to re-invent the wheel, talks of clinical trials focused on pain management is a step forward but nearly a step sideways! They speak of assessing therapeutic benefits in terms of pain relief ! With the change of leadership in .ca and their liberal stance of cannabis I hope the commonwealth country of canada can set an example oz can rightfully pursue themselves. I love australia, i just despise government. We are in the fucking dark ages here. Maybe i am a dreamer .... but im not hte only one.

Us Australians can only hope ! I am in agreement with you in hoping they do look towards our Commonwealth cousins in Canada , however i do wonder why everyone has to do their own "trials" , as after so so many of these , one comes to wonder whether it is just a delaying tactic .... to try and keep everyone happy .

 

I have a weary feeling about politicians ,after years in the armed forces ...
