Eco-Flo Dolomite Concentrate, bunnings cal-mag?

Was in bunnings today and i came across this stuff for 10 bucks a bottle:

Is this a possible substitute for the outrageously priced cal-mag from the hydro store?

 

I realize the cal-mag from GH and the like is nitrate based and this isnt but alas, at only 10$ bucks, can it substitute?

Calcium carbonate needs to break down to be available, as well it will alter the ph of your growing medium.

 

Stick to the cal/mag, can i ask why you are using it?

Have no need for it atm, just wanted to get opinions on the bunnings stuff for if/when there is a need for cal/mag, thanks for the reply.

Np,

 

If you are using hydroponic nutrients, they should have all the cal/mag your plants need imo, common calcium deficiencies are often attributed to over/under watering rather than a lack of calcium available.
