Maxigrow nutes & coco coir

Recommended Posts

After my first shocking attempt with DWC ( hats of to those who use it).

I'm going to try coco coir with 4 autos from Yantra under a Mars hydro 144x5.

I have 1kg left of each maxi grow and bloom.

I can't get perlite so was heading towards 100% coco.

So can i use these nutes with coco or can some one recommend a good alternative.

Cheers

You probably could get away with it, but if you want to be sure that your plants will grow just fine with out needing extras etc then a coco specific hydroponic nutrient is what you want.

TBH most a+b coco specific ones are very similar if not identical just pick a brand you like im personally got nulife going at the moment.

The compression is from the coco breaking down as it is an organic media, perlite won't stop this it will just aid drainage. once the coco is broken down nothing wrong with it, jsut need to take into account the smaller particle size and adjust your watering

Canna is a good brand, jsut make sure you get the coco specific nutrient a + b. the additives are up to you, but not needed at all
