One plant looking stunted and unhappy, Please help

Jac

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am a total noob and this is my first grow. Using bagseed just to try and learn some basics so no idea of the strain.

Growing in coir and perlite mix, small grow cupboard using CFL light. PH generally at 6, using Canna Coir nutients and added Bloom Seafuel when switched to flowering cycle 4 days ago. Keeping to recommended dosage.

As I mentioned I switched to flowering cycle 12/12 4 days ago as was going to run out of room, which looks like will still be tight.

I topped all three plants, again to control height space. Two of the plants responded well and bushed out nicely. They are looking healthy. One plant went into shock and has appeared stunted ever since. The lower leaves have also yellowed on that plant. I flushed that pot with plain water incase there was too much nutrients and let it drain well. It seems a little better from doing this yesterday. I am watering/feeding them usually every second day as needed.

I have no idea what the problem is. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Is it worth continuing with this plant?

I have included a photo of all three plants so you can see the difference as well as a close up of the sick baby.

Hey Jac. welcome aboard the good ship OzStoners.

Sounds like you're doing ok from what you have said, bar the runty one. I'm no expert but to me it just looks like it could do with a good feed.

But as you said, it could of not liked being topped and is still in shock. Dont give up on it as it looks a nice plant and may just need a bit more time to come to terms with being topped.

Also maybe drop ya PH to 5.8 for coco.

I'm currently growing a couple of Blueberriy plants and one was stunted from the start. I topped it and after about a week of looking really miserable it took off.

Start a grow diary and list out all that you are doing RE: grow space size, medium, temps, feed amounts etc and you'll get alot more peeps having a look and giving you advise/help

Hope this helps matey. keep on keeping on.
