lookinggoodguys
Hey Guys, nice pics, yes they are in Honeyeater family, they are Little Friarbirds. I put some pics in above but fucked up the text, so here are they. Wedge-tail, Frogmouth, Eastern Spinebill, Buff Banded Rail. The Wedgy comes in a couple of time a months, she likes my chooks. The Frogmouth and Spinebill are always around, the Rail is not seen often.happy smokin and birdin. Thanks for the name of that bird and reason for doing this. Over the years have seen so many breeds in my Garden and admire them without knowing too much about them. I'm Glad I have found a place to dump my pics, so I can hopefully one day show my children or grand kids the stuff I got up too.

This one also visits occasionally but seems more bashful than the rainbow ones...we get a little green (parrot?) one as well...he was down low in the bottle brush but alas no phone (cam) . I'll have to be a little more organised when down there now that the weather is getting choice! Keep em coming!Faith Edited August 30, 2015 by Faith

The second photos are of the Osprey that nest down at the river in the Lobster pots the crew have put on power pole to stop then nesting in live power poles an it works they moved in the next day after the crew finished putting the lobster pot on the pole. An last of all is the Blue Crane that live down at the river as well. I have lots more photos that I will post later on. Sorry the photos are not of my back yard, But hey Australia is my back yard. Dingo-2008
That Bird is a little Kestrel Hawk Sink ,When I was a young fella I used to look after a few of them Kestrels if I every found them sick or hurt. They are a very cool Bird an easy to tame down. I had a Wedge Tail eagle as well that had fallen from its nest an dad found it while out shooting 1 day an brought it back home for me to look after. I had it for about 5 yrs till it got bit by a snake an died from the bite. Regards,Dingo-2008.
