Question

Looks like another medical cannabis scam is making the rounds on Facebook...

aka SCAMMER ALERT

“Don Medicinal Cannabis” is changing his spots and has begun to specialize in "Medical Cannabis Seeds".

DO NOT trust Don Medicinal Cannabis nor Aussie Medicinal Seed Co... as they appear to be one in the same person/company.

"the Don" has a reputation (on Facebook) for inferior products and not delivering what he promises (taking money and not sending products), he is in the medical canna business for money, zero compassion in his business plan.

If by chance these two 'companies' are not both being run by "the Don", then Aussie Medicinal Seed Co is steeling photos, and that is crap/un-ethical business practice.

The post by Aussie Medicinal Seed Co has been taken down already, got to love a screen grab (however crappy it may be)!

Be smart peoples!

just a few extra screen grabs to prove my point

...so the question begs....where is he sourcing his canna?   What inputs are going into the growing?  Organic don't come easy so I would reckon medicinal substances would require even more stringent guidelines?  I dunno, just wondering.

Faith :sun:

ATM, because it is an illegal market, there are no guidelines, standards or tests in Australia for "medicinal" cannabis preparations. Only with legalisation will we see industry or government oversight.

Just as an aside... if I want to bake muffins for sale at the local market I need to have my kitchen inspected by the health department. But Mr Brown doesn't because what he is doing isn't legal so he isn't held to the same standards as someone selling a food product.

100k... For a cannabis farm... Holy shit.. The things I could do with and for green if I had 100k... Hahaha. Dang.

For a single person it's a damn fine sum of cash to get a grow going but if you have to hire just one person to help maintain the plants and your day to day operations it becomes bugger all so personally I think the 100k is more like the ballpark figure thrown about by his lawyer instead of the amount needed to get started on a bigger scale

and this....http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/the-dealers-ripping-off-desperate-families/story-fni0cx12-1227331709159

The financial planner ‘exploiting’ the vulnerable

A FORMER financial planner is charging patients $9600 for an eight-week “cannabis cancer killing program”.

Langdon Brown, who trades under the name of The Don Medicinal Cannabis, said his Facebook-based business had “become extremely busy” since the Baird government announced trials of medicinal cannabis last December.

“I have over 600 patients,” Sydney-based Mr Brown said.

Mr Brown said he supplied contractors with seeds to grow the marijuana then organised chemists to make up the oil, which he then distributed.

“My customers are real sick, most are cancer sufferers and they come to me at the end of the line and as a last option they try cannabis oil,” he said.

Mr Brown said the cancer killing program consisted of 120 millilitres of cannabis oil over eight weeks for $9600, which he said was not overcharging. “It costs a lot to produce the cannabis oil,” he said.

Patients are then advised to take one mil a day at a cost of $80 per mil, he said.

With 600 patients on the minimum dose paying $560 a week, “The Don” has the capacity to make $336,000 a week.

BJ Futter, who works out of Newcastle and supplies up to 100 patients for free, said Mr Brown was exploiting vulnerable people.

“He is dealing with people with their lives on the line and $9000 is sick, sick exploitation,” Mr Futter said.

Mr Brown denied the allegation and provided The Sunday Telegraph with his business activity statement for October to December, 2014, which showed an income of $143,237 in sales for the three-month period.

“I’m not exploiting the vulnerable and neither is a doctor or a nurse that gets paid to work,” he said. “Every business pays costs, has taxes. I pay my contractors fairly, who also must pay for food for their families.”

I wonder if he will be growing in completely closed greenhouse enviorments? 100k wont be getting him that much potential growing space, but i'm sure he doesn't mind dust/fungus/insects in his buds.

+ we need to pay for water/nutrients/media/pots/watering system/ etc etc.

I wonder how sustainable he plans to make this business, is he planning on setting up a growing area in which he can catch 100% of the run off to clean to re use?

If this guy gets the money, i'm going to write a business plan for a few million lol

The cost of The Don $560.00 a week cannabis treatment is well over the Pension payed to a single person so How the fuck would any sick pensioner pay for The Don's  cannabis cancer treatment.

This Mister Brown has shot himself in the foot an the ass with  all his Bullshit that he has come out with.

That dude that lives down under an is red in color with horns on his head an a pitch fork in hand will be waiting for mister Brown for sure. lol

I was trying to keep my nose out of this thread, but here is how things ACTUALLY work for people that make and donate medical oil.

You get a group of people and growers who have genuine, non profit motive to supply people with medical cannabis oil that are suffering.

These people you see every day, they work next to you, serve you at counters, mow your lawns... they are everybody.

They work normal jobs, pay taxes and follow every other law in this country except this one.

They take a portion of their legal, tax paid wages and pool it together as a collective to pay for a site to grow.

They pay for the capitol, the equipment, the electricity and all consumables with legitimate tax paid income.

They all share the workload and donate their time to growing and oil extraction and it is passed on to be given to across the country to those in need.

There is no illegitimate, illegal money or profit made from the production.

Every dollar paid for the production is from hard earned work of a normal paying job. These people donate their time and money to give something to those in need for 100% free.

There are no exceptions, this is strictly non profit.

The problem the government has with people like this is that financial motive has been removed from the equation, and this makes somebody very dangerous when they cannot be bought, seduced or corrupted by money.

This is what cannabis oil is all about.

Making your life about something more.

Hollywood movies mock the notion that "One person can change the world" by showing heroes that are beyond our capabilities.

This makes us feel like "Im just one person, what can I possibly do?"

One plant has the power to save a life. Save one persons life out of compassion and you will realize YOU DO have an amazing power.

Combined as growers, one plant each, we can save the lives of thousands.

Dont underestimate yourself, you are so powerful and you dont even realize it :)

Rose.
