hmm its more of a grey really than a true white??

my tap waters ph level is pritty decent so ive just been watering with that so its been pritty consistant.

Normally Tap water is too high PH for feeding direct to the plants.

its normally around 7.0 and you want 5.8-6.3.

but I dont think PH is your problem, what ventilation setup have you got?

If the air in the GR isn't moving around enough and the humidity levels are consistently above about 80%, you're going to have problems....

Just looking at your grow thread now... and I couldn't see much about your ventilation? Could you outline how you move air out of the growing space and keep cool, fresh air coming in? And do you have a fan inside which oscillates or at least blows directly over or through the canopy? You need to have a lot of "wind" generated, as well as keeping the air inside the room regularly replaced to prevent any mould from attacking the plants.

If you're foliar feeding or spraying the plants this won't help either, but I don't think you're doing that.

So it's either bad ventilation/air movement, or it's a serious nutrient burn problem. As you're in soil, I'd say stop any excess fertilsing immediately, keep the temps down and flush out the excess nutrients from the plants. That's only if it's not just a mould problem.

Pull apart a bud, have a look inside and then take a pic if you can. A magnifying glass will let you get half decent macros with a bit of effort. If there's any mould or fluffy strands of fungus in there you're going to have a serious problem.

Hope you can fix things up mate, and if it is a big prob, don't beat yourself up about it. We've all had to kill a crop at one stage to learn how to avoid problems. ;)

Hope that helps. :)

Have you got a thermometer that measures humidity? These things are a must.

Ive got excellant ventilation so i assumed that because my temps never go above 25c that everything was fine.

I was wrong.

I found moisture had been building up on leaves and forming droplets while the lights were off , if i hadnt been checking on the plants as the lights came on i would never have noticed it as it was drying up within 30 mins.

Yup, I can't stress enough to people the importance of decent ventilation, and air movement in the GR. Humidity has to be controlled, as a couple of others here have pointed out :)

Mould can be a bastard once it starts in on your buds, and it sounds to me like that's your problem.

I also hope you can fix things up, goodluck with it!
