What is a reasonable priced and resonable Centrifugal Exhaust?

hey q

i got me a 200mm centri fan

bit of an overkill for what i require but was setting myself up for bigger n better things for the future

 

im running 400w hid, cool tude in a 1.2x1.2x2 tent
 
as for fan noise it can be pretty loud at full speed
 
a brought a cheap growlush fan speed controller and found the humming from the fan
 
louder then the fan at full speed, not good at all.

i also brought a noise "muffler" for the end fan. don't waste ur coin on one of these, does not make much difference, for me anyway.

 

acoustic ducting is your friend! reduces the air flow noise quite a lot.

cheers mate... i will get some acoustic ducting, i think this will help alot with the noise. gonna buy a 6" centrifugal fan for exhaust, found one for $225 with a carbon filter.

 

that with my 6" growlush inline i have already will be plenty i think... i will use the inline for intake and the centri for exhaust

btw, my growlush 6" inline has plastic blades... anyone ever had a problem with them melting or anything??

As I told you before qwobbler stay the fuck away from any Growlush hydro crap or you will just waste your money as you have done so with buying that inline fan,I told you so just listen an you will learn an not waste your money on crap that will not do the job.

 

The Hyper fan you are going to buy now is a very good one an will last you many year's your learning very good.

 

 You must understand that we don't give you advice that is not true as we have all had to learn the hard way an are just trying to help you save spending money on shit hydro gear that don't do the job.

 

All the best will your new fan as you will be very pleased with it I am sure of that.

 

You will find that it will be noisy as well so just insulate it around the blue part of the fan motor with the insulated ducting you are getting an that will really help quiten the  noise down for you.

 

All the best an try to remember that you only get what you pay for if you buy shit hydro gear you will get shit hydro gear rule number {1}

i know, i did buy that fan just coz it was cheap and i had no other money at the time. then the seller fucked up and it took 2 and a half weeks to arrive and now i have the money for something better. it has dropped the temp to a steady 32 degrees after some moving around, so it better than up at almost 40 degrees i guess. Its the only cheap thing i bought ay..

 

anyways, hyper is ordered, with a phresh filter along with acoustic duting... should arrive on friday if im lucky
