curing only required for smoking? what about other consumption methods

Recommended Posts

Last season my wayward mate mis-placed a medium sized cardboard box full of trim in his rather large messy shed,  he found it 6 weeks inside another box(partner was being stealthy) but with the top open and amazingly the stuff out of there was beautifully dried and cured, the buds that were in the box were great. Used the trim to make butter. I know its not conventional, he did get lucky and have the right conditions but I wonder if you could replicate the same outcome easily

We use the jars my wife gets for canning, sauces, chilllies etc.  We get them from here.   http://ozfarmer.com/index.php?route=common/home  They aren't that exxy and are pretty versatile.  You can get diff lids as well as a viriety of jars.

Hope this helps...the mocconas work cool too but these are pretty cool.

Again, sweet growing crowsange!

Hi Crowsange nice problem to have, after drying I put the buds in vacuum sealed bags it reduces the size and seals in the goodness as well as compressing the buds. After about a month they are realy nice and compact and somehow it cures them realy nicely. Thats what i do anyway. Good luck.
