hi all

when changing to 12/12 for flowing how long should u wait until you change to flowing nutrients ????

or should u change it at the same time

This is pretty much a personal thing and it really doesnt make that much difference.

However my first few grows I changed the nutes when I changed to 12/12.

I then read that doing this isnt good because its taking the nitrogen away from the plant at a time when it really needs it.

I now change my nutrients once the flowers start forming, At that stage I add the Bloom A+B and some potash.

Hey bro,

 

if your using a 2 part nutrient mix - one week into 12/12 change to flore nutes, as the flore nuted will promote more bubbing sites and you will have a bigger yeild, although by giving your plants a extra week of grow nutes on 12/12 the finish product wont be ready dor a extra week - but you will have slighly bigger buds

 

For the best results use a three part nutrient like General Hydro Flora Series as you change the ratio on every week and not have the above problem.

I usually change my nuits to half veg half flower about 10 - 14 days before 12/12 then 5 - 7 days before i go to full flower nuits.

As mentioned above its a personal thing.

I agree that the plants will need N especially during the stretch, and the bigger plants you have the more it will need N.

 

I switch after 10-14 days of 12/12.
