nutrients to use.

Recommended Posts

gday all just wondering what nutrients everyone uses. as im using a local made brand and im getting ripped off.

it costs me 80 dollars for 5 litres not to bad. but i have to use 15 ml per litre when mixing nutes up. that 5 litres does not last very long haha. i have been looking at the grow diaries of a fair few people. but not really sure if they use additives along with those nutes.

only additives i use are root excelerator from h and g i i think it is, also floralicious, 016 stabilized oxygen im wondering do i really need this it is very expensive 170 dollars for 5 litres, also using multi zyme from house and garden all that for vegging.

for flowering the same as above but i change the a and b veg for a and b bloom, i also add 1 extra additive its called mega crown high performance bud booster. sounds pretty bloody good but i would say i am being ripped again on this one haha.

There's Canna, House n garden, Dutch Master, and a host of others, and going on what I've seen here most of them seem to work quite well.  Personally I like H&G, reasonable price, happy with the results, and 1 nutrient for the entire grow.  Canna is pretty much the same, and some people won't use anything else.  If you are already using Excellurator and Multizyme, maybe the H&G could be the go.

Only additives I regularly use are Multizyme, Roots Excellurator (for the 1st few weeks only), and Top Booster (PK 13/14 basically) for a week in flower.  Also chuck in some Cal Mag occassionally as a preventative.  I've also used shooting powder, but couldn't be bothered with it anymore.

15mls/L sounds pretty excessive, have you checked that against an EC reading?  I think H&G is 4ml/l, but I never use that much, more like 1.5-2.5 max to get an EC of 1.4-2.0 with their coco nutes, can't remember the hydro nutes off the top of my head.
