thanks guys.

when i took the buds away from the hydro 600W light and looked at them under a normal household light, they looked really red and ready.

i have decided to let them go till the 55 day mark which is next monday, then flush them for a week or 10 days and harvest..mmmm!

I just checked my plants and they have what looks like tiny little spider webs, very little and only on the bigger buds. i remember this from my last grow as they were everywhere on the crop, but this grow they look only little and on certain bigger buds.

leaves are fine and great looking, should i be worried??

i am flushing with normal water now and no nutes, hopefully 7-10 days time i can harvest with out any more hiccups!!

dont put anything on them.

What do the webs belong too? possibly spidermites?

they can do alot of damage in two weeks.

I personally would pick off and squash as many as I could find. You really dont want to be smoking anything sprayed on the plants, but then you dont wanna smoke insects either??

Anyone got a better suggestion?

as the name suggests "mite" are usually very tiny, allmost invisible to the naked eye.

Best way to kill them and not damage anything is to release a hole bottle of co2 into your room for about 3 hours without venting the gas. - wear a gas mask when entering room to vent it.

Gas the little fuckers.

Works great

The webbing you describe could also be mould!!

Have a close look at your buds with a magnifier about 10X or so.

I hope for your sake it isnt mould though!! :D

I am going to get a magnifying glass tomorrow, hopefully get a cheap one, yet good enough to do the job.

If it is 'mould' can i just harvest them tomorrow? How basly can mould affect my plants even if it's very tiny mould.

if you look in the centre of the bud at the stalk, is there any white mushy stuff?

I hope its not mould, but it doesnt sound like it to me. :D

Spidermites are under the leafs and look like bits of pepper moving around.

Jack- The c02 would work well, how about a dose of sodawater spray lightly on the plant? eg- it contains C02 and Kelly probably hasnt got c02?? :scratchin

:D

You could try some garlic, you might be able to give it a spray of garlic solution and give it a rinse with a plain water spray the next day. Also you could thow a couple of garlic cloves in the medium.

If you use the CO2 make sure aren't in the room and when you go in to vent the room make sure your animals are outside and you take a breath before entering and only take another breath once you are out again. CO2 can put you on the ground too weak to move in as little as one breath so be realy careful. The gas will be heavier than the breathable air so it will get any animals, kids or anyone close to the ground. The worst part is, if you get a lungful it is realy hard to get it out again so you can get oxygen back in.

I can't say to be careful strongly enough.
