I can't do anything now, as the lights are off, but tomorrow i will be putting the airstones back in and fix the tubing up.

 

I will also mop the base of the cabinet.

 

All the leads are up and out of the way of the water and no chance of falling down, ballast is on the chair. I will set it all up back to normal tomorrow.

 

About the plants, does it matter if they are all pushed in together like a christmas tree? cause that what it looks like.

Don't tie them too tight, tie loops around the stems so they don't cinch down on the stems and tie the branches so they are supported but still open so the light can get in and air can circulate through the branches.

Problems are all fixed.

 

Had to buy a new air pump and new air stones. The aqua shop did this a pump for $14 and two air stones for $1 each.

 

Plants have been tied up straight and look great, the buds are facing upwards and not much leaning at all.

 

Plants are 49 days into flower (7 weeks), not long now till harvest.

 

Does anyone let the White Rhino strain (or any others) go past 8 weeks, i have heard add another 2 weeks after the 8th week of flowering to induce those white crystals, but not sure on this theory as i don't want to bugger the plants up again.

last time I grew rhino I saw weight/crystal at 4 weks and then 8 weeks - total time plant flore was 65 days.

I have searching the web for the last few hours trying to find a dead set look alike pic of my white rhino grow and came across this one which is EXCACTLY how my buds look at the moment.

 

Are they read for harvest or let them go a little longer?

Looks good for flushing Kelly_J but that's not a picture of yours.

 

Check the tricomes or pistils and make sure they are 75% cloudy/red, just to make sure they are ready to flush.

 

Just remember, if you harvest too early, you miss out on more weight/potency. Don't harvest until you are sure they are ready.

 

Try and get some pics, if that's what yours look like you have some great looking buds. :thumbsup

I hope they all come out good, maybe i am getting too impatient and want BUDS BUDS BUDS!! very fustrating time, seems the veg stage flies by and then the flowering is such a drag as your holding out for the buds to finish.

 

Think i might take my time and give another week.

Some good news, strange but yet funny, still confused, !

 

I took a stem with about 3 average sized buds, not too big and not too small. Now in the cabinet with the light on they looked like a light amber colour, out of the lot 50% of the buds are like these.

 

Now what i did, was trimmed the leaves and placed into my drying cabinet. no fans or anything, just a dark cabinet inside the garage (same place as the other grow cabinet). BUT when i started chopping the leaves off i had a really good look at the buds and the hairs were completley RED, like the buds i am used to, i was amazed and confused as to how they looked and were percieved in the cabinet, then when under a normal light they were great lookin buds!

 

Can anyone explain why this has happened?

 

Th whole reason i tried this was to see if my buds are done yet and thought i'd dry them and smoke them and see. But this perticular bud looked very very good and finished.

The growlights play tricks on your eyes, check them under a normal light.
