Half a middle finger... ??? Is that the depth at whcih you are planning to place the seeds? If so, STOP right now. Cannabis seed should not be planted deeper than 1cm. Soils should be watered and allowed to drain off any excess before planting and only water the soil again once the surface has dried off.

 

Time to germination is between 2 - 21 days, most seeds will have broken through the surface within a week or so.
