Time for sprouting

Just wondering how long a seed takes to pop?

Halve a middle finger in .

 

Should the soil be continually watered or just soak and wait?

Unless you have very small fingers, at that depth. Never. Half a centimetre is a better depth. I'd be sorting that out asap.

 

Wet your soil. Let it drain. If you can put toilet paper on the soil and it draws water it's too wet. So don't water again til it dries out almost. Keep the soil warm. From underneath is better. Like sit it on top of a fridge, foxtel box, computer. That kinda warm. Your soil doesn't need look physically wet. Just needs moisture.

 

There's a million threads on how to germinate seeds properly on here and on the interweb. Maybe read some first. You've wronged on step 1 of a grow, so you'll probably wrong elsewhere.
