Soil Vs. Pebbles

I was wondering if pebles are much more efficient than soil, and if so, are they worth he effort to use.. I already have some, but wondering if its worth making the extra effort, or even if I mixed soil and pebles toetgether if it woudl be decent... or would it beat the purpose... please help

by pebbles u mean those clay balls ? them in the soil will be a nicer mix then just plain soil imo it will air it up a bit, and let the water pass threw easier,

The perlite I use at the moment is about the size of expanded clay, it's pretty big. To soften it up a bit, as they can sorta compress in there.. I use 20% Cocopeat from www.cocopeat.com.au and 80% of this Perlite from my Hydro shop. It's the best mix I've found.. I run my pump with nutes 24/7 also... growth is superb.

umm.. pump? ... what sort of pump will I need, and how much should I be paying for it.... is it nessesary?....and thank you both for your input, it willhelp me in my grow....

Depends on your grow space, amount of plants, lighting.. what type of system you are running.. For each 'pair' of plants.. I have a 44l container, with a lid, the 300mm pots sit on top, two of them.. and drain down into the tub, the pump which is 350lp/h cost me about $12 from KMart.. and some irrigation, works a treat.. Best method for growing for me

its a dresser that gos about up to my waist, its 4-5 fet wide, and a meter dep.. sory for the inaxtitue, I'll go check exactly soon...

sorry.. smallert than that.. 82L 42 W 70 H.... noty big, but thats the largest I can do for the monent...
