just doing sum quick reading of the cannabis grow bible and under indoor lights for HPS it says they range from 75-4000watts

 

wouldnt mind a 4000watt hps ::

the bigger wattages are meant to have quite a short life... or so i read about 1500w's anyways.. making em impractical for growing.... I doubt they would be spectrum corrected either, cos 75wers aint....

 

As for the cannabis grow bible, im sorry to see you wasted your money on that pathetic excuse for a book ... I dont think there is worse out there...

 

for a good crop, do everything the opposite of the book....

 

I reckon it might have been written by DEA to help lower the quality of buds around the world and cause health problems to smokers who will be smoking unflushed buds if growers start paying attention to that turd of words....

heh heh... yeah, the super sized ones are more for industrial lighting I think, not intended for agro grow, as banned again has mentioned.

 

, there's a heck of a lot of shit books out there about growing weed, I've read a few which have suggested some damn weird things, not to mention damn dangerous somtimes. These forums will teach you more about growing pot in one thread than some of the "growing bibles" (not necessarily referring to that one mind you).

 

But hey, that's just my opinion.

Good, but you should really pay for quality, as without it we just don't get people writing good enough books.

 

European Cannabis Cultivation is one of the better ones IMHO, must get a copy of the second edition to see if they improved some of their recommendations somewhat. Still, overall a good book to learn from. Great stories in there too.

the second was Kogs book.

 

I was also given a really old book from my dads day, its full of myths and shit like it talks about graphing MJ on to hops ::

Its Dr Atomic Pipe and hash book its a good read but getting pretty old and tattered now.

the best mj book i ever read and i actually bought it it was that good but was stolen like 2 years back :thumbdown ed rosenthals ultimate guide to growing marijuana

 

think that was the name of it but it had mad nice lookin buds on the covers, was all white and was a 1990-94 revision of the book....i learnt so much from that 1 book it changed my outlook on mj forever :smoke

 

will see if i can get another copy of it (legit not downloaded too ) set me back $40 but was well worth the money
