Please explain CFL ratings

Hi Guys, 

 

Can someone please explain the whole CFL thing with the wattage. So for instance if I want a 130W CFL, am I shopping for 130W? or am I shopping for something that is much lower and equivalent to 130W?.. its pretty confusing.

dont bother with the big wattage cfls

 

use more cfls of a lower wattage. more spread, more coverage, lower cost at outset, easier to source, the reasons are endless

Thanks for that.. so just the CFL grow lights from ebay say a 35W or something or a bit bigger like a 65W?

When it comes to CFL imo this is one of the better ones, it 80w but have seen them out the 130w on ebay.
