OK, I been scroggin for sometime now, and no two grows have been the same. Even in growing the same plant repeatedly by clone, none of them have had the same growth rate. So to say "at 30 cm's its time to turn" would be false. Just don't fill the whole area with veg growth. I fill the area under my SCROG net, bit like a starfish with the plant in the middle, once the netting is full, then turn, allowing the growth to grow up thru the netting.

When you turn 12/12 the plant has a huge growth splurt, this growth is variable both in rate and size. A number of times I have had burnt buds from them getting to close to the lights and needed to tie buds down. It really is a case of management. Be prepared for the growth splurt, leave yourself enough room to manage this. Have plans on what you can do, how you could tie down, if needed.
