i people just stumbled across this site ,verry good reading about medical use of mj,i have had 2 failed back opps, and the last time they cut me open my surgon actualy cut into my spinal canal,oops any way that was 5years ago ,i was on morf,uppers downers,anything i could get my hans on,so after going around the twist and almost a marrage break up ,kids all upset ,ect ect ect ,ow almost wanting to top myself off, my doc at the time said u are on cancer pain drugs now there is nothing i can give you stronger ,i explained i looked into growing mj,and she said go for it as the drugs im droping down my mouth,are not doing anything,she also said because i was taking morf ,i had to be a reg drug user also the fact that i was already a registerd drug user so ,like some people have said coppers would be assholes if they tryed to make a case against you when your medical records,show what i have been taking they would be made to look like fools,i dont sell it i only grow for medical personal use,so since comming of the man made drugs,and depresents about 2 years ago everything is almost a normal life,loving wife,loving kids.i have managed to go back to work,so it boils down to one of the man up top providing a great pain relife

Sounds like you've been through the wringer happyjack! I get intermitent chronic pain that I whinge about all the time but reading your post makes me feel like a wimp. Good on you for coming back from that nightmare, and good luck to you in the future!

 

I just put an order in for an 'Indoor mix' of seeds. Hope they arrive safely. I was going to get clones but chickened out.

She knows you use mj for medical reasons, she can deal with or she can go. I'd pick mj. I also use mj for medical reasons.

About 4.5 years ago, my now ex-husband an I got into a bad fight. Without warning he slammed me into the exterior wall of my house. Part of me died that night. That son-of-a-bitch fucked up my right shoulder and back .... for life. there's no way to fix me. minis 2 days equals 4 years of Not knowing what is wrong with me. It took my 2nd doctor 3 years to find out it's a type of chronic pain. My 1st doctor gave up after a year and then told me, "It's all in your head." I lived.......no that not right.........I attemted to coexist with the pain, but the pain always won. I took 18 fucking pills a day, but the pain laughed at the attemt to kill it. I hated what I had become....I wished for death to end my suffering...trust me if your eyes feel like their going to bust while your head is going to explode 24/7, you'll wish this. this is only taste of my hell. About 3 years ago, a legal friend of mine asked if I have ever tried mj for the pain. within 2 months my doctor signed the card, and I've been smoking everyday since. I'm down to 6 pills a day. mj gave my life back. I was in college during this painful/ugly chapter of my life, my grades improved from a C's to honor roll within 6 months. I do not recommend others to try this.

THats the sorta thing I like hearing, Congrats on finding MJ.

Im also a sufferer of chronic pain in my back and also I suffer from Migraines that cause my head muscles to tension up beyond normal.

 

MJ is the only stuff that has worked for me.

Hi there,

l am new to this, as l suppose many of you once were, anyway l have suffered with chronic back pain after being struck by a motor car whilst riding my pushbike in 1996 and have taken all sorts of painkillers and am currently taking 12 Tramal 100mg tablets daily but have decided to try the MJ as l have heard many great results but am not sure where to start such as where to get seeds from etc.. and how to grow and even use so would appreciate any information you could supply.

Wow, some stories here! I'm another med user, had an accident at work when I was 19 and had 2 ops on my right wrist. I suffer from rheumatiod arthritis, raynaud's phenomenon and ganglions in the hands and feet. Such fun!

Since starting to use MJ about a year after my accident every day, it put a halt on my raynaud's and took the leaden pain out of my hands and wrists. I can do a lot more without having the pain on my mind 24/7!

OzStoners was the place I learnt most of what I know! Welcome onboard, and don't be afraid to ASK about anything! Help is always around :thumbsup

hav just found out about this site,,i am also a sufferer of spinal surgery gone wrong,with a busted tail-bone & many damaged nerves i am also thankfull to being directed to mj...with my wife returning to work cause i can't ,life with 3 kids being at home everyday almost got me also...i am now a non-alcohol intaker were as be4 i was a mad drinker,my family r my life now so i take pride in hiding it from my kids.my wife & i r interested in growing small but r novices & need a little help,,any directions of sites or stuff u know would be appreciated.....

At the age of 12 my lower back was broken and my spinal cord injured. As a result I've been in a wheelchair ever since. The lower back pain is tolerable and I could live with synthetics for the most part if that were the only problem.

 

I had a through the knee amputation on my left leg about 5 years ago now and the docs bungled it while doing it. They damaged the nerve that runs down the inside of the leg and wraps around the knee. That causes me pretty much constant pain.

 

Currently taking about six Tramal 100SR, four Tramal 50, twelve Neurontin 600, two Endep 10, and four Panadine 500/8's a day. When this doesn't cut the pain I'll take as many as four more Tramal 100SR's and four more Tramal 50's. The amount of medication is rediculous and if it weren't for the health care card I couldn't even begin to think of affording it.

 

I went out and bought a butane torch and a glazed white bong with a rather menacing Redback painted about a third of the way down the tube. First delivery of leaf is tomorrow and first delivery of bud is Saturday.

 

I'm hoping and parying that the herb will allow me to really cut down my synthetic useage for pain relief. I'll be reporting back on how things go with the little experiment.
