closet

Hi, everyone. I have a closet which is about 46cm by 77cm by 168cm tall .I'm wonder which HPS light's would be best for this space.400w or 600w thanks

Where do you live? ambient temps alter what light you can use,

However if you work to a figure of 50watts per square foot.

 

I think your looking at a 400 maximum, maybe leaning at a 250watt?? Its a small box.

:mellow: hi,it's just a closet 11/2ft wide and 5ft tall and flat white,at the moment I have 6 plants 1ft tall under 4 cool white on a white backboard. I can increase the number these light or go up to hps,the temp runs from 4 or 5cel. to 35 to 36 in summer. cheers

go with a 400 mate, 600s are a fair bit hotter and you can actually get the 400 closer in a closit.

but I grew with a 600 in a closit in Qld, I just made sure I had GOOD ventilation.

use a 250hps or mh dont use a 400 or you'll be up s... creek in summer
