I really enjoyed this book, but was pretty sad at the end. My fav characters are jubal harshaw and his three secretaries. The book deals with alot of themes that are quite deep and that i never had thought about. It kinda gets a bit slow in the middle and you start to wonder where it is headed, when it takes you on another total trip.

I've been an atheist since fifth grade, I guess, but this book showed me that "God" to a lot of people isn't a "dude." I don't feel the need to call consciousness God myself, but I can understand a lot of Eastern religion much better now.

 

This is easily in my top 3 books, I would recommend it to most people I know.
