Got up early this morning to go have "brekkie",and heard the exhaust fan for my chamber still going,an HOUR after it was supposed to stop.

Checked the timer and the white pin thing was missing,do not know how !

Anyways,my question is,will this affect the plant as it "was" going real good in the flower cycle 12/12,as far as i am aware this is the first and only time that this has happened.

Any "enlightenment" to this problem will be very appreciated.

Cheers.

Depends where you live too, as I discussed before, my fan is a cheapy passive setup and I run it 15 minutes every hour or so as I run C02 and want the highest concentration I can get without overheating the girls.

Luke is right in saying that you should keep it on 24 hours a day to stop condensation etc etc as it can lead to moulds and so forth.

I grow in your everyday garden shed, tin roof etc and I have on occaison seen condensation, specially on those cold nights, but not on the panda film, only on the tin side of my room (I cheated and used a bit of the shed wall for the room) Other than that, it really depends on where you live to in regards to temperature drop overnight and relative humidity I would imagine, would you agree Luke??? My room is well ventilated and even with my door open, no light gets in to worry them (I am running my lights 8.30 am to 8.30 p.m) so I have never had a problem.

Your plants will be fine, as Luke said, keep it on 24 hours a day and they will be firing nicely.

I know many people who use the same method I have and have done successfully for 10 or more years, these people pull about 100 oz's a year out of their rooms, they also run their fans on increments.

I usually keep an eye on the room, if it looks sweaty in my opinion, I bump up the exhaust fan and give it more time per hour etc.

In summer I usually run it for 15 minutes, then off for 15 and so on.

I don't have the fan on as much at night, this may help contribute to condensation but I seem to have been lucky so far and haven't encountered any mould or fungus as a result. It really doesn't get that sweaty in my room for some reason.

It is a big room, IMO I was trying to work it out the other day but didn't have a tape measure, it works out to roughly 8m3. Maybe this is why I don't have a prob?? I can't wait to get my computer and camera etc, so keen to show off my ladies.

Good luck and don't stress about the fan, it's a weed after all and it doesn't require rocket science to grow it.

Listen to Luke and you will surely have big, fat buds in no time!!!

Cheers

So sorry guys, what i meant was, that the light stayed on for an extra hour,as i have everything running off a power-board,which is run by the timer.

I did not realise that i had to have the fan going 24/7,thanks for the advice, and i will rectify that straight away.

My grow room/wardrobe dimensions are;1.2 metres long by 1.450 metres high by .450 of a metre wide.i think it works out to about 0.783 m3(i think),not sure if i have used the right formula !

I have a exhaust fan that is capable of pulling 260m3 of air-flow per hour,an internal desk fan for circulation and a thermometer that sits at 25-30 degrees, depending on how long i have the doors open for maintenance.

Hope i was a little more specific this time around. (and not as ripped !)

Cheers.

Thanks for all the advice guys, but i had to pull her,she started to grow again,DAMN IT !

I pulled her early i know, but,i would rather count my losses, take it on the chin, use it as a learning experience and not make the same mistakes again, hopefully.

So,back to the drawing board.Third time lucky,i hope !

The babies i got in there now are looking real happy and hopefully they will reach maturation.

Cheers everyone.
