Medicinal cannabis use gets support

Legislation introduced into the ACT parliament by the Greens allowing the medicinal use of cannabis has received in-principle support by the two major parties.

 

If the Bill, introduced in the ACT Legislative Assembly is passed, the territory would become the first jurisdiction in Australia to allow such a move, The Canberra Times reported.

 

Under the legislation, those ill would have to ask for permission to use cannabis for medical reasons. They would need the backing of at least one doctor.

Sweet looks like a step in the right direction hopefully the rest of NSW and the rest of the states will follow suit otherwise I may just relocate ha ha ha
