Chronicele's First Grow

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

Just started my first grow from some old bagseed. I just threw 3 seed in a pot with a soil mixture of normal garden soil, and some 'Biogrow' planting mix. Put them in a low light area outdoors, and nothing happened for a couple of days. I decided to screw it and just whack them out on the front balcony, which has direct sunlight from about 6am till 2pm (and is quite well lit, although not directly, until about 5:30pm). Anyway, low and behold, I noticed after 2 weeks since I planted the seeds, a sprout was growing! hurrah! Follow the link to see some pictures of it: (sorry about the size)

My plant

Anyway, I was just wondering what to do next. I will probably transplant it to my garden out the front, where it should get around 7-8hrs of light a day. The main questions I wanted to ask are:

1) When should I move it (mainly for security purposes) - like how high should the plant be?

2) How often should I water it (btw I am in Sydney, and temps vary from 8degs to 20degs in winter)?

3) Should I use any fertilizer? And if so, what should I use?

4) What strain does it look like? I can't remember the strain from the bag, but I'm pretty sure its a sativa strain.

5) Are the two little sprouts in Picture One (on the linked website above) the other two seeds I planted previously, or do they look like just some sort of weed in the soil?

6) Is it possible to stunt the growth (if it is a sativa plant), and how do I go about that?

7) Will it be ready by spring/summer? How can I increase the growth rate without moving it indoors or doing something really conspicuous?

sorry about the ridiculous amount of questions, but it is my first grow, and I wanna get things right!

Thanks alot,

chroniceles.
