258 cannabis plants

A haul of cannabis plants worth more than half a million dollars has been uncovered in Sydney.

 

Police said officers had executed a search warrant on a house in Broadmeadows Street, St Johns Park, in Sydney's southwest, around lunchtime on Friday.

 

They found 258 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of $645,000 plus hydroponic cultivation equipment which was taken for forensic examination.

 

No arrests had been made at this stage, police said.
