Nah, WC I totally agree with you on this fact.

 

What I was trying to show was that there is another product called Budwise which causes a hermi plant to drop any male flowers.

 

The other ones ie- La femme, well I took the shop statement as " you have to use this as a soak and then keep using it and it may prevent the male flowers forming."

Also yes the bottle I have of La femme does contain NAA. however I couldnt find an explantion of NAA.

 

I use nutriboost which is like superthrive without the glue,

But it also contains 1-NAA that swells plant tissues.

Is this the same thing??

 

The Bud wise is different in how it works, killing male flowers and causing them to drop. VS preventing male flowers from growing.

 

Would you know what the Budwise contains??

Well the last remaining girl got the chop. 4.5 oz wet, a little over 1oz dry. Not the best smoko Ive ever had, but its still good! Ive noticed its alot smoother than most that Ive bought. I gave her about 7-8 days of flush time.

 

Picking out some of the smaller colas to smoke while the rest get a cure.

Is 2 weeks long enough for a cure??

Hey ros,

 

Most times hermies appear if the plants are stressed 2 much. ie. room to hot or to cold - dark peroid gets interrupted on a regular basis - etc.

 

Check your growing parameters as this will most likley stop your girls turning into trannies.

 

95% of plants will hermie if stressed enough.

Yeah, I thimk it was a combination of the pots being too small, fighting fungus gnat & using pyrethrum.

This time round I am trying dwc. Should eliminate the fungus gnat though!

i use predatory nematodes. if there's a bug in the soil they'll eat them. this will disrupt fungus gnats next generation. I use predatory nematodes at least once a month as a precaution. I haven't had a problem with fungus gnats for a few years now.

hmmm i think i have to post this one again, didnt seem to go through....i was just wondering how ide be able to get my hands on some of this budwise stuff? and also if it would be safe enough, or make much of a difference if i treated suspected hermies before they started to flower? :scratchin

It's a plant hormone, usually used for stimulating root growth.

 

I'd say the budwise would be the only product of those mentioned which would actually do the job required. But the sensa soak, IMHO, is a huuuge ripoff. Sex is determined during fertilisation, not during germination or growth. :rollseyes:
