Gaol sentence appealed

ATTEMPTING to smuggle a small amount of cannabis into Bathurst gaol for a friend has landed Edward John Quinn a five month's spell in gaol., However Quinn, 37, from Tumut Place, St Clair, immediately appealed the severity of the sentence in Bathurst Local Court this week and was granted bail until his appeal is heard in the District Court at a date to be set., Quinn was charged with taking 3.8g of cannabis into Bathurst Correctional Centre on April 10., When asked by Magistrate Alan Clarke why he tried to smuggle the drugs into gaol, Quinn said "it was a dumb thing to do”., "That's the understatement of the year,” Mr Clarke said., "You were trying to take drugs into gaol so why shouldn't I sent you there.”, Quinn, who initially represented himself, replied: "I don't know Your Honour.”, Mr Clarke said he believed the charge should be dealt with by imposing a full-time gaol sentence., After Mr Clarke handed down the five month's gaol sentence, Quinn's partner shouted "no” and left the courtroom in tears., Police facts tendered to the court by Police Prosecutor Sergeant Brett Donaghy state sniffer dogs detected drugs on Quinn during a routine search before he entered the centre., Police alleged when questioned by correctional centre staff, Quinn admitted possessing the cannabis and removed two small balloons containing green vegetable matter from his underpants., More: Read today's Western Advocate,

what a stupid fuck

 

what i woulda done is soaked tobby in some potent ass oil, put the tobby into a the tubes and back in the pack when they look like the pack hasnt been opened...can be done by using a razor blade to gently cut around the seal of lid my mother told me that after she caught me stealing smokes from her when i was younger and said even she was smarter than me ::

 

anyways if u do a good enough job the pack shouldnt smell any different than normal and if u hand the inmate the pack and they get it to the cell, upto 50 chronic durries for them

 

then again im not stupid enough to try it and i dont expect any1 to do it either if i ever end up in gaol, not worth the risk + when u get out it would hit u so hard
