Can I suggest you scout the area , with no seedlings, go for a recreational drive at different times, different days. I use to have to travel deep into and out the other side of large plantation near Jenolan caves, to get to construction site many years ago.

The forestry activity is intense when they harvesting, so stay away from compartments that look fully mature, 6 months later when plants are all go, these boys in flanny's will strip 20 square miles back to dirt in a few weeks.

Try and learn you locations, I don't think anyone here can tell you the patrol times of a forest, even if we knew the forest. For what its worth , I never seen any patrols, only harvester crews and 100's of trucks.

And try not to get shot, there are crazies in there at night, pissed and firing at anything, go in daylight.

Don't really know anything about forestry patrols, but I can offer a small amount of sensible advice.

If you are guerilla growing on any public land, do it during daylight hours, and have a reason for being there ready to give if asked, by anyone, so it comes out naturally.  Bushwalking, fishing, birdwatching, whatever, but if you are sneaking around in the dark, whilst less likely to run into anyone, it would be more likely to be someone in authority, and it will look suspicious.

Personally, I'd give pine plantations a miss.  They are a commercial enterprise, and they are tended to.  Used to know a couple of Kiwis who worked in our local pine forests, and they systematically work their way through the plantations pruning branches and shit.  Sooner or later someone will get to your plot location, granted your average Kiwi tree lopper won't tell the coppers, but they will likely come back and claim your shit to smoke.

Having a car parked in a public forest or National Park isn't necessarilly illegal, but be thoughtful about what you carry in your car in those areas, as it's likely that your car will be searched if the coppers find you driving around in those areas, as they know that growers and illegal hunters, or even shroom pickers, get up to their naughty shit in there.

Plan ahead, and be sensible.

The whole point of guerilla growing is to be stealthy, and mitigate your risks as much as humanly possible in order to minimize your chance of losing you plants, and/or getting busted.  And, as far as I'm concerned growing for money is commercial cropping, not guerilla growing While I'm sure some would disagree, it cerainly ain't in the spirit.

Planting next to waterways, growing inside worked pine plantations, and doing it for money, all the while making plans whilst high as a fucken kite????  Sounds like you've done your research and know what you're doing.  Do us a favour and write a book about your growing experience so we can all learn to be as smart as you.

Can't wait to see Lou's response to "calm your farm woman", should be good.
