Canna or dutch master

Recommended Posts

I was wondering which nutrient you guys think I should go for with my next grow my medium is Coco with a little perlite and a perllite base for drainage, I have narrowed It down to two

Dutchmasters - Dutch Fest Grow and then Dutch Fest Bloom

OR

Canna - Canna Coco which I can use all the way through apparantly

You can either go for a canna coco specific nutrient or any normal nutes I havent seen any difference in using one over the other. I mixed and matched different nutes and really havent seen a huge difference in any of them..although using powders I did have some brittle stem problems

Both of what you mentioned are great albeit expensive brands to buy and grow with

Your coco is ideally best mixed up with perlite at a ration of 50/50..why? When using coco it is extremely hard not to get portions of the coco which lock out water and get too dry thus ruining your root mass.....by adding perlite you will allow more water to penetrate the entire mass and hopefully you wont get as many dry spots by using the combination of the two mediums....unless of course your using 5 litre pots and not 50 litre pots like Im thinking

But ya probably knew all this anyhow and Ive overstayed my welcome lol

Our plants are very happy with the Dutch Master 2 part nutrients, we also use their boosters for veg and flower.

Pure im pretty sure that the Flora is just canna's Flowering nutrient.

nulife is a good brand but apparently not as good as Canna,

In the past I have used and liked xtream which is also Aussie's and stronger than most other nutes.

I just seem to be having hassels finding it.

I just brought new chemis and stuff today and have decided to give experts chice a go, it used to be called Bud Pounder but have had to change their names. However they now have a decent amount of Iron in the mix. Which apparently in the past has been a problem with most nutrients.

I was thinking of using Canna BUT when I found out the price I just about fell over.

Whichever way you go Pure, let us know what ya think about the nutes after using them for a bit.

hey pure,

with canna theres coco for growth and flower just use pk 13-14 to induce flower.. or vega for growth and flores for flower.. the vega and flores arent specifically for cocofibre but theres cannazym if your concerned.. Theres also aqua vega and flores for aeroponics.. check out canna.com for a fully detailed write up on them all..... Basically theres not much difference just cause it works for one doesnt mean it will for all... pk13-14 adds a nice flavour to the smoko... the diffent base forumlas dont make much difference to flavour either....
