Is the election this year or next. What happened to the debate over boat people has that been settled yet, euthanasia debate to help elderly couples to far from being cured and want to end there pain hasn't been mentioned for a while. Can anyone remember the last achievement the government was proudly behind that has/ will give the australian public a good result.

Campbell Newman (QLD) and Mike Baird (NSW) have both said they are not against medical cannabis in principal and now the Vic opposition leader is saying he will regulate for medical purposes.  These are all positive steps and the tide is really turning on this.  No doubt to begin with it will still be heavily restricted as politicians are shit, but things are moving forward!

 

Its time for the federal government to address this, but I doubt they will for a while.
