Expat accused of smuggling hashish seeds into Dubai

A man is accused of smuggling hashish seeds into Dubai so that he could grow them into plants. The Pakistani driver is on trial at Dubai Court of First instance charged with possessing and smuggling more than a kilogram of the drug. The 52-year-old was arrested at Dubai International Airport on March 22 after returning from Pakistan.
