DANGEROUS DRUGS AMENDMENT ACT 1997
Act No. 3 of 1998

Insertion
7. After section 7 of the Principal Act the following sections are inserted —

Licence to import, etc, cannabis

“ 7A.
(1) The executive member may, in writing, grant a licence to a person to —
(a) import cannabis into Norfolk Island; and
( export cannabis from Norfolk Island; and
© plant, cultivate, tend or harvest cannabis; and
(d) sell cannabis; and
(e) have cannabis in his or her possession.

(2) A licence granted under subsection (1) may be subject to such conditions as the executive member thinks appropriate.

(3) A condition to which a licence granted under subsection (1) is subject may be varied by the executive member.

(4) Without limiting the generality of subsection (2), conditions that can be attached to a licence granted under subsection (1) include conditions relating to —
(a) the period of the licence; and
( the area where the cannabis can be grown; and
© the cultivars of cannabis that can be grown; and
(d) security measures required to be taken to prevent unauthorised persons having access to the cannabis; and
(e) inspection of the cannabis by officers of the Administration and the police; and
(f) the persons who are authorised to plant, cultivate, tend or harvest the cannabis; and
(g) records to be kept by the licensee.

Sounds like it's basically legal as long as you have a permit.  I wonder what their laws are on general posession and consumption of cannabis?

 

Anyone else thinking about turning Norfolk into a legal cannabis paradise? That would certainly help with their tourism issues.

I believe it went offshore...then? That's what I was thinking...  We to either bury them (paradigm threats), or sell/give them to someone else.  at least that's what I've heard concerning the motor.  Ji kinda linked this to that.  too hard to make money for them right now and it would basically humiliate and make obsolete the bulk of police and pharma and med I reckon.

Its a clayton's economy destroyer and our govt is both subservient and fearful.  Convict style.  I was kinda in a rant-ie zone

true?...I'll read up on it sometime. I was under the impression that it was super efficient.  I think you get the idea though.

The motor never existed, it was basically the biggest con of the era. However the idea of it got enough funds invested for Orbital to create some other good technology which is what they still do today. Edited August 11, 2014 by wannagrowbuds
