help on what size can fan

Hi all

My room is 2.3m x 1.5m and 2.3m high and im running a 1000w epapallion hps I all ready have a 8inch canfan with carbon filter and silencer but I think it is to big. The hydro guy said that was the right one but im having doughts. Im Having trouble working it out what canfan size is right.
