Cheap Lighting

Recommended Posts

Hiya shauden :peace:

If I was in your posi I would try my hardest to get up enough moolah for one of the Philips 80w light holder/reflector lights-check out Glandore.

I don't know if you've seen Stoned Jester's grow but he goes well with his 80w grows.  I really understand where you are coming from...try your best to save what you can toward your equipment and just do what you can with what you have, and can afford.  I wouldn't have been able to buy my lights and fan for much longer  'cept for out of the blue blessings.

I take my seedlings to about 3 nodes 100-150mm anyway) under 2 desk lamp (bout 5-10 bucks at bunters) with 23W daylight lamps (cfls, shop around besides woolies/coles lol  ).  make a nice spot for them in the sun during the daylight (if it is possible) .  Before too dark then you could bring them in, bathroom or something until you are ready to let them flower.  how tall are they at 3 Nodes?

Peace and good growing to you shauden

The plant is at 60mm atm and i've sunk the stem atleast 15mm on its last repot which was 3 days ago. I tipped it about 4 days ago and I can see it forming 2 heads, if you will. I've been putting it in full daylight whilst the sun is out and putting it under a 70w halogen bulb at night. I have never been fully devoted to growing until now so I don't really care if it dies or rots or anything. It's all a learning curve and i'm looking forward to the years to come as I gain more knowledge.

Not giving it a dark period?

Sounds like you need to learn the basics, I suggest you do more reading.
