Government wise to take cautionary approach on cannabis trials: Michae

Recommended Posts

I love these pollies and theie cannabis is a dangerous drug contrary to popular myth... "causes cancer and mental issues"... yet tobacco and alcohol are OK because big business has lobbied for it to be OK and acceptable.

As a nation our leaders seem to have no issue with the effects of tobacco and the destroying of lifes/families that alcohol brings... but the fear mongering of cannabis continues..

We followed the US into banning this substance... yet we wont follow them in legalising it..

all it takes is a journo to ask them to substantiate their statements but who's gonna do that in aus 'journalism'?  They all scared little whipped-slaves imo-the ones who aren't weren't have been stigmatized by mainstream and an unjust legal system, jus like our lil clayton's democracy right here

"First of all, let us be clear. Contrary to popular myth, cannabis can be harmful and has significant negative health impacts.

It can lead to increased risk of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, cancer and serious mental health problems including depression and psychosis."

Ok first off let's be clear, Contrary to popular belief, although we don't have any definitive proof of the negative effects of cannabis, just biased interpretations of results from scientists who are most likely monetarily funded by certain 'ways of thinking' ......

cannabis can be harmful and has significant negative health impacts.

It can lead to increased risk of cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, cancer and serious mental health problems including depression and psychosis."

That's how that paragraph should of started

I love the way an established poppy industry having concerns about medical canna trials effecting their reputation (profits?) somehow becomes influential on supposedly democratically elected governments making negative decisions about a drug that they know to be widely used by the people that vote for them.  I'm also trying to laugh at the irony of the plant that makes heroin being supported whilst demonising cannabis as a medicine.

Plus justifying their decision by citing the NSW gov rejecting medical canna without mentioning the recommendations made in the report that government rejected, right wing cherry picking fuckwit!

+1 to what everyone else wrote
