'Get a warrant' to search cellphones, Justices say

Police cannot generally search cellphones without a warrant when they are arresting someone, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in a unanimous decision Wednesday that weighs heavily in favor of Fourth Amendment and privacy rights.

One exception to the warrant requirement left open by the decision is a case in which officers reasonably fear for their safety or the lives of others. TERRORIST

 

Like to gain entry to a premises without a warrant all a cop has to say is people in the area said they seen you out the front acting in a threatening manner with a firearm then you ran inside with it.

 

Little tip if ever need the cops for any reason the quickest way to get a response out of them is to say you have seen a suspicious person hanging around the area and mention to the response person looks like he has something in his hand looks sort of like a gun. Guarantee you will have 5 units within 5 minutes.
