Hey guys im new on the site so gday all.

 

I was just wondering if you guys have any good strains for tassie.

My old man grew Durban poison with great success but due to lost genetics I need some new strains as I cant find any good Durban phenos from any seedbank.

 

Ive tried many many different strains for outdoors here but nothing seems to stand out to good, skunk#1 done really well if it was done nice n early but im at a higher altitude now so the skunk wont last from mould, ak48 done really well but I didn't think the smoke was all that exciting.

 

Any suggestions on cold climate strains would really be appreciated. .

Which seed banks have you tried? Have you tried Sensi's Durban?

The real seed co. Have some varieties that may be suitable.

Norden Seeds breed strains specifically for colder climates in Europe, they might have something suitable.

I'd opt for something massively indica dominant like an afghan or an extremely fast sativa like c99.

I'd have to agree with K-9, Indica's from mountainous central Asia would seem like a fairly obvious choice, acclimatised to altitude and cooler temps with a short flowering time.  Be good if you let us know what you go with and do a grow diary so we can all see how it turns out, love a good outdoor grow.

Thanks guys ill have a look into the seed banks use have suggested. . And no I haven't tried the sensi durban.. id really like some strains more for the smoker than anything id love to try a diesels n kushs but I dint think they'll suit me..

 

Ive tried some pure indicas like "aurora indica" and a few others with good results but had miuld problems rotting from the inside of big nugs because I like my stuff to finish properly, and I like a couch lock at night but I need some sativa buzz from time to time..

 

But ill let you guys know what I choose and so on.. im unsure if ill do a diary as im unsure about this Internet posting..
