I'm sick of this shit.  The terminally ill should be given cannabis for sure but why mention cancer patients if you're only going to allow the terminally ill to have legal access to cannabis? Oh it'll help their nausea from chemotherapy? You mean that treatment that can reverse the terminal diagnosis? Yeah they're now a recreational user and don't qualify for anything other than imprisonment

The only mention of cancer was link to a related story, but I can understand your frustration with politicians and the media. To Richard's benefit, his stance on cannabis hasn't changed in the last decade. I don't agree with him, but at least he isn't one of these pollies that has just jumped on the bandwagon because the papers have picked up an emotive "human interest" story.

 

I expect we will see some more posturing before a probable agreement in principle, but no change in the status of cannabis... much the same as the outcome of the recent inquiry in NSW.

K-9 I feel your frustration but it's a start.

It also negates any comments that say "but the long term effects are blah blah" since with terminal patients the long term effects aren't much of a concern their quality of life in the short term is.

I just wish they would stop  all this BULLSHIT an make Cannabis Legal for medical & rec user's the whole lot sucks.

 

I have said this many a time a will keep saying it we will get nowhere fast if the Rec & Medical user's of Cannabis don't all come together an all move as one large group an crush these  piss ant Pollies & the other crew in the health department's that have a negative attitude an stop cannabis from being legal.

 

The pollies must rub there hands together when they see us medical & rec user's of cannabis  fighting between one another.

 

Please don't get me wrong as I am a medical user an a rec user of cannabis an see both sides of  this fight to have legal cannabis.
