I use coco and perlite and I don't seem to get gnats... stopped even using sticky traps because all they ever caught was my hair. Spider mites on occasion during the warmer weather, but no fungus gnats.

Lmfao...god they are a fuck of a thing, turn around and they are stuck to your arm, shirt, hair.  oh man that made me laugh. So many times ive had that sticky shit all over me.
