I love the enlightenment , but sucks a little that it takes a close family member to get sick before these anti drugs people start to show some compassion and common sense.

In reading that makes me relise that the cause needs some anti drug people converted so the gov and Aussie people don't just take at as a bunch of hippies trying to find a back door to recreation legalisation.

The shoe is always on the other foot when something illegal can help a sick family member, then it's any and all alternatives open for use, fuck the law. The problem lays in getting popular public sympathy and sustaining the empathy long enough to affect change. I soppose any and all publicity is good and the more the merrier.

 

Mean while the pollies just walk in circles with their collective heads up their arses, hoping all the time that the hard, bad thing will go away soon, so they don't have to deal with the problem. The greatest tragedy is that we elect these goons to govern us.
